NJ Real Estate License Renewals are Open!

The New Jersey real estate license renewal cycle for 2021 has opened! When you place your license with General Referral your renewal requirements are simple: first, complete your online Qualifying Questionnaire. Second, relax!

If you’re not at General Referral (we’d love you to give us a shot!), the license renewal requirements are as follows for the 2021 cycle:

  1. ** Updated Continuing Education(CE) Requirements: The Fair Housing CE requirement has been implemented. All licensees must now include a minimum of 1 Hour of Fair Housing in the Core category in order to fulfill their CE requirements.

  2. ** The PSI CE Data Tracking System has been updated to reflect accurate CE credits that have been uploaded.

  3. All individual licensees (except Salespersons- Referral and those 40 Year Brokers that are exempt) must complete the Continuing Education (CE) Requirement.

  4. All individual licensees must complete and submit their online Qualifying Questionnaire.

** NEW

Here’s more from the State of New Jersey:

Any licensee failing to satisfy either of these two requirements will not be eligible for license renewal. Please remember that there will be a Late Continuing Education processing fee of $200 if the CE Requirements are not timely fulfilled. For this year only, the Late Continuing Education fee will NOT be charged if you complete all continuing education requirements, including the Fair Housing CE, by May 31, 2021. If you complete CE on or after June 1, 2021, you will be charged the $200 processing fee.
